Last of March
Today was spent at Basildon Park, a National Trust property near Reading. This gave us chance to enjoy a picnic in the chillingly cold (but rather beautiful) outdoors. We also got to explore the house and go on an Easter Egg Hunt. Although you get used to not being allowed to touch anything in these grand places, this was a far more hands on day. I even got to play some piano in the main house. The picture is from the never knowingly underdecorated Garden Room.
