The Green Ray

Many years ago BBC2 went through a period of showing French movies on the weekends. Almost every week I'd watch and then talk about what I'd seen with a friends. Some, like me, were captivated by the difference with Hollywood and loved the slower pace and seemingly endless scenes where nothing much happened. Others were infuriated by the slower pace and the seemingly endless... well, you get the idea.

Anyway, a recent B.F.I. advert reminded me of The Green Ray, which I'll be watching tonight.
