50th June

Actual exciting news this month. My band's album, Slow Life, will be released very soon.

We recorded it live in the Glasshouse Studios in Oxford so we had a record of what we sound like live, without the sound of people chatting and dropping beer glasses on the ground.

If you ever heard our EPs, you may recognise some of these as they have been in the song list for a long time. I hadn't listened to the old versions in years but when I finally compared how they sound now to the earlier versions, I was shocked. The earlier recordings, although good in many ways, sounded pedestrian and a little lacking in soul.

So, if you would like to hear how we sound now, come to a gig. Or, listen to the album, chat to your friends and drop a pint of beer on the floor.

Slow Life (Live at Glasshouse) will be available on all well known streaming platforms by the end of July. It will also soon be on Bandcamp, where can listen before you buy, then buy it and support us. Expect it to arrive on the 22nd July.

I'll post links as soon as it launches, or more realistically, about a month afterwards.
