Dick Martin

I discovered today that Dick Martin has just died. He was part of a 1950s comedy duo with Dan Rowan and I got to know them through their hosting of 'Laugh-In'. This was an American comedy show from the late sixties and early seventies. Laugh-In was part of my childhood. I loved American comedies when I was growing up and my favourites were The Mary Tyler Moore show, Rhoda and Laugh-In (amongst others). Dick Martin also appeared in the Doris Day film 'Glass Bottom Boat' which, when I was very little, was my favourite movie.
